🇹🇼 Taiwan, you were incredible!

Just wrapped up my first international speaker session at AWS Community Day Taiwan on ‘Scaling RAG on AWS: Building AI Apps’

The perfect way to kick off turning 22 (though I’m still in denial that I’m not 21 anymore😭)

Huge thanks to Franky Chen for making this happen and to the entire AWS Taiwan team for the warm welcome.

I’ve been part of and helped organize many tech events, but I’ve never seen one run this smoothly- massive respect to every organizer and volunteer (sorry I can’t tag you all!).

🙂‍↕️Special shout-outs for all the love and conversations:
Shu-Mei (Amy) Lee • Danny Chan • Kuan-Hao Huang • Yu Chen Lai • OO KANG ZHENG • Sky Chen
(and everyone else I couldn’t tag ).

Taiwan gave me more than just tech takeaways; there are stories and non-tech learnings I’ll share soon.
For now… ✈️ heading to Bangkok for the next chapter.

🔗Slides from the talk are here if you’d like a reference: lnkd.in/d2yW8Mqx

Big thanks to Pranav Metil , Rushi Balapure, Kaushik Aduri , and Sanika Kotgire for the last-minute presentation help.

Love you Taiwan, will definitely be back! VERY SOON

Glad to share that my speaker proposal got accepted for AWS Community Day Taiwan 2025 on the topic- ‘Scaling RAG Systems on AWS: Building AI Apps with Bedrock, Lambda & Vector Search’

This will be my first international in-person tech talk after a few online ones :)

Anddd after Taiwan, a hop to Thailand to keep the adventure going. 🇹🇼 -> 🇹🇭

Anyone in Taipei or Bangkok up for coffee chats, tech meet-ups, or to give me their office tour?

I’d love to meet builders and the tech community there!!
