Workshop: Building your first AI agent

Not fond of birthdays but this one felt a bit special :)

The first Build Club AI Builders Meetup in Pune just wrapped up and it couldn’t have gone better!

This morning, a room full of enthusiastic builders came together to learn, experiment, and actually build with AI.

What a privilege to host an event like this with such an incredible audience🙌

What did we do?
- Manvendra Singh 🥑 gave a workshop on- 'Harnessing RAG with Vector Databases'; breaking down RAG, Vector DBs, and guiding a hands-on session to create a RAG-based chatbot.

• -Himanshu Sangshetti (yours truly) ran a workshop on- 'Building your first AI Agent', introducing AI agents and a CrewAI hands-on.

• -Kaushik Aduri gave a lightning talk- 'AI Bulletin', highlighting the newest AI tools and how to apply them.

Specials?
- We had Vedant Dwivedi (City Lead & Co-founder of AndAI), Somesh and the complete AndAI team with A MASSIVE SUPPORT and GIFTS for participants

• -Our OG speaker Manvendra Singh 🥑travelling from Jaipur, Vedant Dwivedi from Mumbai, some attendees from Ambegaon and out of Pune people just to attend the event!!

• -And to be honest, nothing better than the audience that was so curious and interactive.

Thanks?
- A big one to Technogise(venue partner) along with Immanuel Joshua for making this possible

• -To my friends who put up with my last minute tasks Rushi Balapure, Kaushik Aduri, Sanika Kotgire, Pranav Metil, Mayuresh Muluk, Shivam Khetan, Shraddha Asolkar :)

The energy in the room proved one thing: Pune is ready for an AI-first builder community
Let’s keep building, MANY MANY MORE THINGS TO COME💪
